I HAVE KNOWN JERRY HEALY FOR 20 YEARS. I THOUGHT HE WAS A NORMAL DOWN TO EARTH GUY WITH A VISION. I WAS WRONG. I MISTOOK HIS FARAWAY GAZE FOR VISION, WHEN IN FACT HE WAS MERELY DRUNK. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE CITY. HE CARES ABOUT GETTING HIS KIDS CITY JOBS AND HIMSELF A JUDGSHIP. IF OTHER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY SUDDENLY GET PROMOTIONS OUT OF THE BLUE ALL THE BETTER BECAUSE AS HE LIKES TO SAY IT "THIS IS HIS TIME TO MAKE SOME MONEY". HE HAS SURROUNDED HIMSELF WITH SYCOPHANTS AND YES MEN LIKE CARL, JERRY L., JOE K., BILL AND PHIL (THE BROTHER'S GRIM AND GRIMMER), BRIAN R., AND OSWIN.

JERRY IS NOT EVERYMAN. JERRY IS A SAD MAN WHO HAS LOST HIS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. HE KEEPS TELLING HIS OLD FRIENDS THAT HIS CURRENT POLITICAL MOVES ARE JUST TO GET ELECTED AND THAT HE WILL BREAK WITH HIS ALLIES SOON. HE MIGHT THINK THAT IS WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT HE WILL SOON SEE HE HAS NOT OTHER CHOICE BECAUSE HE HAS BECOME THAT WHICH HE STARTED OUT DESPISING.

MELISSA WILL GET MY VOTE ON TUESDAY. JERRY, MANY OF YOUR FRIENDS WILL also vote for her because she cannot do anyworse than you have let yourself do and because your only chance at redemption is to lose the election and to return to the ranks of the everyman and to your family. Otherwise, I and soon the rest of the city will have to recall you because you have no idea what you are doing.
