Another example: In 2000, he endorsed pro-abortion liberal Jim Treffinger for U.S. Senate, instead of pro-life conservative Murray Sabrin. It was apparent to anyone who spoke with Treffinger that he was a snake in the grass. Not to Bret, though. Or perhaps he simply didn't care. Well, Treffinger was later fined and sentenced to prison for corruption as Essex County Executive.

Can we really trust Schundler's judgment? Can he really create a team full of competent, ethical individuals to run this state?
