Forrester and Schundler score higher in the polls due only to their higher name ID. Why do people know their names? Because they previously ran statewide campaigns... and lost! Lonegan's internal polls say he's in a solid third place, with a high undecided vote remaining. Even other polls show a lot of undecideds. Lonegan is a winner. He's consistently won in a town Schundler and Forrester lost. He's a conservative and, unlike Schundler, he's not afraid to admit it. As Steve has said, "Doug doesn't share our conservative values, and if Bret does, he doesn't want anyone to know it."
