Bill Gaughan has applied to the National Historic Society for official designation as a fossil. This will also qualify him for protection under the Political Dinosaur Act and allow him lame duck status without riducule or prejudice. "Marianno Vega was the final straw that broke the camels back", said a tired Gaughen while waiting for a refill of his vodka. When reminded that he was still the chief of staff to the County executive, he exclaimed " oh yea, I forgot about that. Fed up with the lack of support from downtown he demanded Junior Maldanado's resignation, at which point there was no need for further discussion. Mosquito Park will be named Jurassic Park in his honor.
