: Hello, my name is Paul Catsandonis, and I am running for Councilman of Ward B, Jersey City.  The main reason I decided to get into politics here is I want to see something done! : As a lifelong resident of Ward B, I am very much aware of our problems.  We definitely need to improve safety, education and jobs.  We need to bring back police foot patrols, increase lighting, add more speed bumps, hire more teachers and ensure that land developers are keeping the air and land clean.  Also, we should require that land developers and companies seeking abatements hire a percentage of their workforce from Ward B.

: I am an attorney for Allstate who fights insurance fraud.  My passion is justice, which is what I would bring to Ward B.  In addition, my qualifications include a law degree from Cardoza School of Law; a BA from the University of Chicago; and the Jersey City public school system.
