DATELINE: March 31, 2005 - Jersey City, NJ - Following growing conjecture surrounding a failing Charter School and its dubious financing, Steve Lipski is said to be dropping out of his reelection bid in Ward C. Rumors circulating around City Hall say Lipski's move was due to pressure from Jersey City Mayor Jerremiah Healy who feared further investigation into the school's finances would jeopardize the integrity of his slate. Parking Authority Executive Director James King is rumored to be Healy's choice for the Ward C slot on the May ballot.
