Eavesdropping here on electric chatter. A weeks worth actually. Steve Lipski is acting like the fat kid in Stand By Me. I don't side with either of them because this is something two adults with responsibilities shouldn't be doing. This week I will slowly chew every tree left in Hudson County because that lady couldn't possibly be in all those places at once and the Jersey Journal needs more front page material because apparently the big return of Calvin And Hobbes (by popular demand) in the funny section is losing enthusiasm and tree people with food poisoning is top material.
"The last tree chopped on city property is Hudson County's Katrina," says Jimmy King, Ward C billboard superstar.
Question: If Janiszewski skied and this administration plays golf religiously what did Jackson, Cardwell and Cunningham do for recreation?
And no one still cares about Pat O'Melia.
And when will all agree that Bettinger would take a bullet for any Ward C resident if that situation came about? Catch the fever. I know I did.
