There was a story going around when Tony Cucc1 grabbed the keys to 280 Grove after the first ride on the merry go 'round. It seems that the Cucc1 campaign was providing a payroll for the captain of a crew of street workers. This particular entrepreneur vastly increased his profits by pocketing the money. Instead of paying the workers, he convinced them that they were all gonna be in like Flynn for easy money City jobs.

The first day of the new regime, the entire group of workers (sans the boss) showed up at City Hall for their new assignments.

I was told that somehow or other the "volunteers" were taken care of. I don't know how the sticky-fingers boss was taken care of!
