CODEY TO SIGN AGREEMENT BETWEEN STATE POLICE, COAST GUARD (JERSEY CITY) – Acting Governor Richard J. Codey on Thursday, December 16, will publicly sign an agreement with the United States Coast Guard, granting enforcement powers over homeland security zones to the New Jersey State Police. Rear Admiral David Pekoske, Commander, First Coast Guard District; and Rear Admiral Sally Brice O’Hara, Commander, Fifth Coast Guard District will also be signing the agreement. The event will be held at the Historic Liberty Terminal at Liberty State Park, in Jersey City. After the toll bear left Continue past the traffic light straight into Liberty State Park Make a Left onto Freedom Way Continue straight on Freedom Way until you reach the stop sign. (Liberty Landing Marina will be directly in front of you.) Make a right onto Audrey Zapp Drive (a cobblestone road). Continue straight on Audrey Zapp until the last parking lot. (this is the 2-hour lot located on the left side of the road.)
