The mail from Mahwah is starting to pile up on acting Governor Codey's desk as faculty and students from Ramapo College make entreaties to the governor to stay out of the college's presidential search.

Thursday, a group of professors met on campus and fired off a letter to Codey saying they were concerned that his endorsement of his political ally, Sen. Joseph V. Doria, "runs the risk of politicizing the search process." Cody (sic) has lobbied for Doria, who did not make the cut when the school's search committee selected five semifinalists.
