On their own, a number of long-time Hudson County GOP figures mailed a letter of endorsement for Lou Manzo. At least one other registered Republican placed an ad in a local paper supporting Manzo for Mayor.

If you want to unite behind a republican maybe you should show your face and run for mayor instead of hiding on this website. Or, maybe youre not a republican at all, just a manzo democrat whose a disgruntled loser. I'm so tired of you manzo people - you really ought to give it up. This idiot ran like 67 times for mayor and each time the people of jersey city cast a resounding NO vote for him. Get the message.

Although we covered all bases Arango with Smith; Czaplicki with Healy; and a beautiful letter of endorsement on the Republican Website for Lou Manzo; We all agreed to cover one another's backs so no matter who won, we won and our jobs are safe. It worked the Democrats are all stupid! So Jose how come we don't unite behind a Republican?
