Thank you for your insight and well wishes, I appreciate it. I firmly believe that the people of District 33 will vote for the cadidate that will best represent their interests. A monumentous grassroots campaign is the only way to garner this type of support when challenging such an influencial machine. To that end, I have only agreed to this obviously up-hill challenge because I have received a tremendous amount of bi-partisan support throughout the district in favor of my agenda. Additionally, this election year, as was the case last year, will not be so much about party voting. It will be about the bottom line - which is that at the end of the day we are not Democrats, Republicans or Independants we are the people that live in NJ, and I have all the confidence in the world that the people of legislative district 33 will choose the candidate that best represents them as people not partisan voters. Rich That is a fact that not Republican will win Hudson County any time soon. (Look at Bush numbers). Mr. Valdes would do better if he runs as an independent democrat. Then he can do damage, and gain name recognition through the media. He is Puerto Rican so he can gain support from the Spanish voters. But mark my words
