ANCORA, 34 m. (90 alt.), is the site of the CAMDEN COUNTY PRISON. A well-kept farm worked by the prisoners provides practically all the vegetables, poultry, dairy products, and fruit used in the institution. Orchards and vineyards line the highway NW. as the pines thin out. At the GRAPE EXCHANGE, 34.9 m., large quantities of grapes are sold each autumn to wine manufacturers and to Italian residents who form tempo- rary groups to buy grapes collectively for making home-pressed wines.
