Atlantic City to Pennsylvania Line, 59.5 miles.
Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines parallel the route throughout.
Excellent accommodations at both terminals; gas stations and lunchrooms at frequent intervals.
Four- to six-lane concrete roadbed.

Northwest of Atlantic City US 30 runs through wide sandy wastes with stunted trees, then through a belt of rich fruit-growing land, important for wine grapes. In the western region are many orchards, and then a broad zone of suburban towns. Known as the White Horse Pike, the highway carries the bulk of the traffic to Atlantic City passing through Philadelphia.

US 30, following Virginia Ave., branches west from Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City.
