Some person or persons unknown (to me anyhow) have installed a number of professionally made (red vinyl letters on white plastic board, around 24" X 18") signs that read RECALL STEVE LIPSKI. The word RECALL is big and bold and can be seen from blocks away. The artiste skimped on the STEVE LIPSKI message; you've basically got to be right at the pole in order to read it. I'd guess that someone driving is going to miss it (unless they are stopped just at the corner for a red light). There are 3 or 4 at Five Corners and another 3 or 4 at Summit and State Hwy (that I know of).

What's the point? Is this some sort of quid pro quo for the threats to recall some other members of the council? Does anybody know and care to relate the particulars?

Me, myself -- I'm a 33rd degree practitioner of the negative message AND a great lover of signs. BUT, considering that we are in the Holiday weeks, it seems both a tad unnecessarily nasty AND something of a waste of time/energy (considering that the general public is thinking of anything but politics now).
