I would like to praise Senator Kenny for his courageous decision to pursue his faith outside the construct of the corrupt and hypocritial Roman Catholic Church.

It is laughable for these bishops to try to strongarm Catholic politicians by witholding the Churchs' sacraments. These bishops, who obstructed justice by hiding pedophile priests and concealing evidence key to law enforcement investigations, can simply no longer claim the moral high ground.

They threaten to withold the Churchs' grace from those who support a woman's right to choose while turning a blind eye to others who support the death penalty. They propagate the myth that condoms cannot prevent sexually transmitted diseases like HIV and compound the AIDS crisi throught the world. They discriminate againt women by refusing them entry into the priesthood.

The Catholic Church is anachronistic, anti-woman, homophobic and simply out of touch with the realities of the world. It is not surprising that people are leaving the church in droves and priests no longer can be recruited.
