I just naturally take a such warped view of things. For a moment I suspected the possilbility of wealthy individuals evading the campaign finance laws by using the names of other people to make donations. What a silly thought. I'm sure that nobody would ever do anything like that! : ::::It is kind of inspiring - "mommy" hiding the seed money in a jam jar, "little johnny" buying used books & skipping meals & "ma & pa " eating dog food & cutting their blood pressure medicine in half. Kinda brings a tear to your eye. : : Just taking a quick look at the various donor lists, the number of "homemakers," "students," and "retirees" is very striking. It's very inspiring to imagine all these folks -- from frugal management of their fixed incomes -- saving nickels and dimes so that they can make $1000 donations to Bob Menendez! : : : ::::Though I only have made it to page 55 so far, it seems to me there are an awful lot of "homemakers" who made healthy contributions.
