: : : A few days ago, I ran into some guy on Summit Avenue who was chewing my ear off about the many reasons why he thought everybody ought to get behind Healy.  Almost like a revival meeting preacher, he worked himself up into a frenzy and as sorta a high note shouted, "Gaughan is the only one who can protect Jersey City from Menendez."  I asked him to elaborate on that.  All I gots back was that he knew what he was talking about, but wouldn't say no more.

: You knows, the world gotta be skiddin' along on it's side nowadays.  We's got a Governor tip toein' offa the stage.  A member of the Howard Stern show bunch is campaigning in the Heights.  Plus, I just learned that a wino who used to hang out under the railroad bridge by the Holland Tunnel and the Sallies has gone and become a star in a cult film!
