: By the end of the day, she had put in nearly 15 hours, standing by the voting machines until the last ballot was cast and counted, she said.

: But nearly two weeks later, Melissa said she still hadn't received the $100 she was promised for her time and effort, despite repeated efforts to get the campaign to make good.
