Hudson County GOP Chair Jose Arango announces the formation of Hudson County Democrats for Bush. Hudson is the first New Jersey County to have a Democrats for Bush organization.

Around twenty-five people attended the announcement including Frmr. Freeholder Joe Gallo, Hudson Reform Democratic candidate for Surrogate in this year's primary, John Caulfield, Frmr. Sheriff Dominick Pugliese, Frmr. Jersey City Councilman Warren Curtis and Hudson Reform Democratic candidate for County Executive in last year's primary, Melba Walsh. Ms. Walsh actually carried Jersey City – Tom DeGise's home town! Also, there were a number of veterans and a law enforcement officer at the event.

Nader Guirguis, the editor of an New Jersey Arabic language newspaper endorsed George Bush for President at today's event. Mr. Guirgius said that most people in the Middle East thank America for removing the threat of Sadam Hussein.
